Nathan Falkner
M, b. circa 1745
- Father: Francis Faulkner b. c 1709, d. c 1783
- Birth*: Nathan Falkner was born circa 1745 at NC; Nathan Faulkner was born before 1745. It is unknown as to where or when he died. Nathan and his wife Sarah signed as witnesses for the will of Benjamin Faulkner. This is part of the proof that the Faulkner's of Anson Co. came from Maryland. Benjamin and Nathan would be first cousins. Archibald is one of the chain carriers on two of Nathan's land grant surveys. This was a job most often given to teenage boys. The fact that Archibald did it at the ages of 13 and 18 is pretty strong proof that he is a son of Nathan. The preceding analysis was provided to Charles Robert Faulkner by John P. Forkner, but more research is needed to substantiate this connection. Relationships from Dr. Archibald Faulkner forward are fully substantiated.1
